Planning For Print Products

Photoshoot planning for the print product pictures:
Risk Assessment for filming:
My House:
- Somebody getting hurt when we put the board up
- Someone falling dow the stairs
- Menna or Beth hurting themselves when they pull the knife out of the board

In/Around Digbeth:
- Beth getting injured when we film the kidnapping
- Falling into the canal when we enter the warehouse
- Climbing into the warehouse
- Somebody falling over
- Menna lying on something sharp when she lies down
- Menna or Beth cutting themselves on the smashed phone

Here are some examples of existing Billboard Posters that I might take influence from:


The conventions of a billboard poster are:
  • A large image, usually featuring the main characters featured in the film
  • Title of the film
  • The main actors names
  • The director and possibly producer's names
  • Reviews, ratings and maybe award nominations
  • Credits
I have created some layout sketches for the billboard poster, using the same conventions to the examples above:

  • Age restrictions, and other content warnings
  • DVD logo

Locations and Filming Planning

I found some old empty warehouses in Digbeth which I might use for Scene 9.

More Intertitles Testing



Here I have tested similar things for the intertitles, using the green screen effect on iMovie and overlaying it over the time-lapse. I have also used some long shot and put some fake reviews by critics over them, then to make the text stand out I have added the 'Day to Night' filter on some of the shot, and editing the colours of them.
